F.A.Q.

Morocco is kind of a place that can be travelled to all the year around. but the overall best time to visit the country is March, April, May, September, October and Novembre. These months have the combination of nice temperature in Marrakech and good enough weather in the mountains and the Sahara. Travellers who desire to come to Morocco should take into account that the peak of summer scores scorching levels.

With extreme hot temperature and peaks covered with snow and largely conservative culture, it is wise to bring some layers. Female travelers are not requested to dress as locals. during summer a short sleeved t-shirt and below knee skirt should be fine.

We don’t recommend tap water in Morocco even it is chlorinated and will cause no harm. But still it is wise to avoid its unfamiliar bacteria that may cause sickness and diarrhea and get filtered or bottled water. Brushing your teeth with tap water should fine and it is preferable to avoid salads and cold drinks served with ice from the tap.

In Morocco Pathways, we do not oblige our clients to purchase travel insurance. but since the public health system is limited and the private clinics are expansive we always advise our travellers to get one before leaving their country.

Phone coverage is generally good in cities and towns whereas is limited in remote and mountainous areas. if you want to use your phone on the go it is better to buy a local SIM card.

At the airport, there are always good prepaid deals for travellers at the convenient stores. Usually a 10 USD deal gets you a fair amount of calls and mobile data.

Tipping is not mandatory in Morocco, while rounding up the bill in cafes and restaurants is a custom. Leaving small tip to the drivers and guides is good way of showing appreciation, if you are happy with their service.

No need to that. There are plenty of ATMs, exchange points and banks everywhere. Most of the restaurants, cafes and businesses accept paying with credit cards with an additional fee of 4%.

Mint tea = 5 to 10 dh

Coffee = 10 to 15 dh

Fruit juice = 10 to 20 dh

Basic meal = 50 to 70 dh

Expansive restaurants = 150 to 200 dh
