An unforgettable 3-day journey in an air-conditioned minibus through the iconic landscapes of southern Morocco. Cross the High Atlas Mountains, discover the Dadès Valley and Todra Gorges, visit historic UNESCO sites, and experience the magic of the Merzouga dunes. A perfect mix of culture, nature, and desert adventure—with the option to spend a night in a nomadic tent.
After breakfast, depart Marrakech heading south through the Tichka Pass (2,260m). Take a scenic detour through Telouet and the beautiful Ounila Valley, known for its adobe villages. Visit Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, pass through Ouarzazate, known for its cinema museum and the Taourirt Kasbah. Continue through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses. Arrive in the Dades Valley by evening. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Head toward the famous Todra Gorges, with their towering 300-meter-high cliffs—paradise for rock climbers. Continue east through the Tafilalet region. Lunch stop in Touroug, then visit the ancient khettaras (underground irrigation systems). Pass through Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Hotel check-in, welcome tea, and sunset view. Dinner and overnight (Optional: camel trek and night in a nomadic tent upon request).
Early wake-up to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. Begin the return journey to Marrakech, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes. Lunch on the way. Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Clothing:
- Comfortable and lightweight clothes for daytime (cotton or breathable fabrics).
- Long-sleeve shirt and lightweight pants for sun protection.
- Warm jacket or fleece for cooler evenings in the desert.
- Scarf or shawl (great for sun protection or covering from desert winds).
- Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
- Sunglasses with UV protection.
- Sun hat or cap to shield from the sun.
- Small backpack for day trips and essentials.
- Reusable water bottle (1–2L) to stay hydrated.
- Portable phone or camera charger (or power bank).
- Camera or smartphone for capturing desert landscapes and cultural sights.
- Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and lip balm with sun protection.
- Personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, travel-sized soap).
- Light snacks (energy bars, dried fruits, nuts).
- Wet wipes or tissues for freshening up.
- Travel documents (passport, travel insurance, ID).

- Binoculars for enjoying the vast desert scenery.
- Lightweight blanket or shawl for comfort during longer car rides.
- Notebook or journal to record your travel experiences.

- Pack light, as you’ll be traveling between several locations.

1 euro équivaut à environ 10 à 11 dirhams selon le cour de la banque. Dans toutes les grandes villes, vous pourrez retirer de l'argent avec une carte Visa internationale. Vous trouverez également de nombreux bureaux de change. Attention, ne retirez pas trop d'argent car l'exportation des dirhams est interdite.
