This 5-day itinerary takes you on a unique journey from the heights of the High Atlas Mountains to the wild beaches of the Atlantic Coast. Starting in the Toubkal massif, you’ll hike through scenic mountain passes and traditional Berber villages before reaching the oceanfront trails near Sidi Kaouki. An immersive experience full of contrasts — from mountain effort to seaside relaxation — all while discovering the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.
After breakfast, transfer by comfortable vehicle toward the Toubkal Massif. Arrival at the village of Imlil and meeting with your team of muleteers and cook. Begin the trek with a steady climb to the Mzik Pass (2000 m). At the top, stop for lunch. In the afternoon, continue along the mountainside to reach the Tamsoulte refuge (2250 m). Installation, dinner, and overnight stay. Approx. 5 hours of walking.
A steady ascent will lead you to the Tizi Oussem Pass (Tizekerte – 2930 m), offering breathtaking views. Then descend to reach the village of Aremd (1980 m). Arrival at the guesthouse, installation, dinner, and overnight stay. Free afternoon to explore the village. 4 to 5 hours of walking.
After breakfast, transfer by vehicle to the village of Sidi Mbarek. You'll cross a large part of the Haouz plain via Chichaoua and Ounagha, heading toward the Atlantic coast. Lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon at Sidi Mbarek village. Homestay accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Enjoy a scenic coastal walk along the Atlantic Ocean, passing through wild beaches and stunning landscapes. Late morning arrival at Sidi Kaouki village. Installation at the guesthouse, lunch, and free afternoon to swim or relax. Dinner and overnight stay. Approx. 4 hours of walking.
After breakfast, transfer to Essaouira. Free visit of this relaxing coastal town: explore the fishing port, the medina, the Skala, and the fish market. Lunch, then return transfer to Marrakech.
Clothing:
- Trekking boots (broken in beforehand).
- Warm jacket and rainproof jacket with a hood.
- Warm hat and sun hat.
- Gloves (waterproof in winter).
- Comfortable trekking pants and lightweight long-sleeve shirts.
- Thermal base layers.
- Wool socks (2 pairs).
- Lightweight sandals for the refuge.
Equipment:
- Backpack for trekking gear and a daypack for essentials (water, snacks, extra layers).
- Sleeping bag.
- Water bottle with purification tablets.
- Walking poles.
- Headlamp with spare batteries.
Other Essentials:
- Sun cream and lip balm.
- First-aid kit (pain relievers, plasters, antiseptic wipes, rehydration sachets).
- Passport and travel insurance details.
- Small toiletries (toothbrush, soap, towel, antibacterial gel).
- Snacks and energy bars.
Winter-Specific Gear:
- Crampons, gaiters, and ice axes.
- Down or windproof outer layers.
- Snow goggles.

1 euro équivaut à environ 10 à 11 dirhams selon le cour de la banque. Dans toutes les grandes villes, vous pourrez retirer de l'argent avec une carte Visa internationale. Vous trouverez également de nombreux bureaux de change. Attention, ne retirez pas trop d'argent car l'exportation des dirhams est interdite.
Le Maroc est à l'heure GMT, il y a donc une heure de décalage par rapport à l’Europe.
Pour les ressortissants français, belges ou suisses, passeport en cours de validité (pas de visa) valable au moins six mois après la date d’entrée sur le territoire marocain.
Aucune vaccination n'est obligatoire. La meilleure précaution restant la prévention.
