This beautiful two-day trek takes you into the heart of the Azaden Valley in the High Atlas Mountains, where you’ll discover Berber villages, terraced fields, juniper forests, and the famous Ighouliden waterfalls. This moderately difficult hike is ideal for those who love walking and are looking for an immersive experience, blending nature and culture. An authentic adventure starting from Marrakech, guided by a warm and welcoming local team.

After breakfast, transfer in a comfortable vehicle towards the village of Maghira, well known for its olive trees and oil press. Continue up the beautiful Azaden Valley, passing through several Berber villages until you reach Tizi Oussem (1980m). Meet your guide, cook, and muleteer. Once the luggage is loaded, begin your hike through terraced fields and past shepherds’ huts to reach the Tamsoulte area (2250m). Arrive at the refuge for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, hike to visit the Ighouliden waterfalls. Return to the refuge for dinner and overnight stay. (Approx. 4 hours of walking)
Leave this extraordinary mountain area by hiking along juniper forests to reach the Tamaterte pass (2300m), offering a stunning panoramic view of the Aït Mizane Valley. Then descend to the Berdoune spring for lunch. In the afternoon, continue your walk to the village of Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech. End of our services. (Approx. 4–5 hours of walking)
Clothing:
- Trekking boots (broken in beforehand).
- Warm jacket and rainproof jacket with a hood.
- Warm hat and sun hat.
- Gloves (waterproof in winter).
- Comfortable trekking pants and lightweight long-sleeve shirts.
- Thermal base layers.
- Wool socks (2 pairs).
- Lightweight sandals for the refuge.
Equipment:
- Backpack for trekking gear and a daypack for essentials (water, snacks, extra layers).
- Sleeping bag.
- Water bottle with purification tablets.
- Walking poles.
- Headlamp with spare batteries.
Other Essentials:
- Sun cream and lip balm.
- First-aid kit (pain relievers, plasters, antiseptic wipes, rehydration sachets).
- Passport and travel insurance details.
- Small toiletries (toothbrush, soap, towel, antibacterial gel).
- Snacks and energy bars.
Winter-Specific Gear:
- Crampons, gaiters, and ice axes.
- Down or windproof outer layers.
- Snow goggles.

1 euro équivaut à environ 10 à 11 dirhams selon le cour de la banque. Dans toutes les grandes villes, vous pourrez retirer de l'argent avec une carte Visa internationale. Vous trouverez également de nombreux bureaux de change. Attention, ne retirez pas trop d'argent car l'exportation des dirhams est interdite.

Pour les ressortissants français, belges ou suisses, passeport en cours de validité (pas de visa) valable au moins six mois après la date d’entrée sur le territoire marocain.
